Sales Representative - Logistic Services

Major logistics company in the Richmond, VA area has an immediate opening for an aggressive Sales Representative.   They are looking for an individual with a drive to succeed.  The qualified candidate will primarily be responsible for bringing in sales for all products such as, Air, Sea and Ground Freight/Logistic services. 

Only candidates who are driven to earn a higher income, and are willing to put long hours in with minimal supervision to achieve sales revenue goals should submit their resume.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 
  • Cold calling customers daily to sell the company’s portfolio of freight/logistic services.           
  • Maintain assigned accounts while developing new accounts.
  • Locate and contact potential customers to offer freight/logistic services.
  • Occasional evening hour entertainment to develop new business.
     
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
 
  • Attention to detail and customer service oriented 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • MS Office skills such as Excel, Word software required
  • Team player with ability to multi-task
  • Competitive spirit and a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills 
  • Industry knowledge a plus but not required
     
Completive base salary plus commissions, benefits and car allowance.
