1st Coast Cargo Inc. is a leader in the Transportation and Logistics industry.  They have an immediate opening for a full-time Class A Driver.  Individual will drive company owned equipment with a dry van and/or flatbed to make multiple pick-ups and deliveries per day in and around the Jacksonville, FL area or may be assigned to out of town runs as required.   

Qualified applicants must be a US Citizen, speak fluent English, have a clean MVR, minimum 3 years of recent driving experience and have a clean and professional appearance.  Applicants must be dependable, professional, organized, and customer service oriented.

Individual must have experience and the ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and dolly, as loading and unloading material will be part of the employees’ responsibility.

(Independent contractors will not be considered)

• Paydays are Fridays for previous weeks work
• Company uses E-Verify to confirm US Citizenship
• Full and Complete Background Check (National and Local)
• Drivers must wear company assigned and approved apparel

Compensation:

AM Shifts $21.00 - $24.00 per Hour PM Shifts $24.00 - $28.00 per Hour

$0.42 per mile over the road (01/2023) $75.00 Over-night layover

Benefits: Company pays up to 60% of individuals medical insurance on base company sponsored plan.

No PTO within the first 60 days.  PTO is accrued at a rate of 0.0351 hours per hour worked, capped at 80 hours per year.
